Event Production Show, Industry Conferences and Celebrating Women in Security

It has been an incredibly busy and exciting couple of weeks for the team at Kingfisher SEC, with exhibitions, industry conferences, networking events and celebrations across the security and events sector.

Event Production Show – Showcasing Our Event Security Services

Last week we spent two full days exhibiting at the Event Production Show, held on Wednesday and Thursday. The show is one of the UK’s leading exhibitions for the events industry, bringing together organisers, venues, suppliers and production professionals from across the country.

From our stand we showcased the range of event security services we provide across London and the UK, including SIA licensed security officers, experienced event stewards and FREC 3 trained medical responders for large-scale events and festivals.

The exhibition provided a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with industry colleagues, meet new organisers and have valuable conversations ahead of what looks set to be another busy events season. From festivals and sporting events to corporate launches and brand activations, the demand for professional and experienced event security teams continues to grow.

We now have plenty of follow-ups to work through after meeting some very promising contacts during the show.

Our branded Kingfisher highlighters and bright orange notebooks proved very popular with visitors to the stand — and the chocolate certainly helped keep energy levels up throughout the two busy days.

West London Business Awards Gala

No sooner had the exhibition wrapped up than we were heading to Twickenham Stadium on Friday evening for the West London Business Awards gala dinner.

We were incredibly proud to be named a finalist in the Business / Professional Services category. The evening celebrated the achievements of businesses across West London and highlighted the strength, diversity and innovation within the local business community.

The event was hosted by comedian Shappi Khorsandi, who had the whole room laughing and made the evening thoroughly enjoyable for everyone attending.

For us, it was a great opportunity to connect with fellow West London businesses and celebrate the work being done across the region.

Continuing the Momentum Across the Industry

There was no time to slow down this week either.

Part of the Kingfisher team travelled north to attend the conference hosted by the United Kingdom Crowd Management Association in Middlesbrough. The conference brought together professionals involved in crowd safety, event management and security operations to share insights and best practices across the sector.

At the same time, another part of the team stayed closer to home and attended a local business exhibition in Brentford organised by West London Chambers. From our stand we once again had the opportunity to connect with businesses in the local community and showcase the range of security services we provide across London.

As a West London based security company, building strong relationships with local organisations and businesses remains an important part of our growth and development.

Celebrating Women in Security

As the week leads into International Women’s Day, we have also taken time to recognise the important role women play across the security, events and protective services sectors.

The morning began with a networking breakfast hosted by Ealing Trailfinders, where discussions focused on the challenges women face in sport and leadership.

Later today we will be attending an event hosted by the International Professional Security Association celebrating women working in protective services.

Women continue to play an increasingly important role across the security industry, from frontline operational roles at events and venues to leadership positions within security organisations. Encouraging more women to join and progress within the sector is something the industry continues to work towards.

Looking Ahead

Two very busy weeks — but filled with meaningful conversations, new connections and exciting opportunities ahead.

As the 2026 events season approaches, we are looking forward to supporting event organisers, venues and businesses with professional event security services, experienced SIA licensed staff and strong crowd management teams.

The conversations started over the past two weeks are just the beginning, and we are excited to see where many of these new relationships will lead.
